Young and old gathered in downtown Wake Forest to celebrate Mardi Gras, with special guest Eugene Taylor, the Drum Prophet. It was a beautiful day. Eugene captivated the crowd with his unique rhythms, signing, bird chirps, and shakers which he wears on his wrists and feet – a truly unique performer. “Mesmerizing”, “Inspiring”, are just a few of the ways folks describe Eugene’s performance. “He makes you want to dance. Eugene Taylor continues to attract fans. His appeal crosses many boundaries and his messages of hope and love come from the heart. Currently working on his second album entitled “Rainfall” he takes every opportunity to perform the title song from his first album, entitled “The Rhythm of Life which was recently made into a music video.
