The crowd that weathered the rain storms last night to make it to Wake Forest Coffee, sipped on a mixture of coffee, tea, frapuchinos, with sweet desserts while listening to the soulful vocals of Eugene Taylor. Eugene and his producer, Diogenes Ruiz, pleased the crowd with songs from “The Rhythm of Life” CD and a future project. The atmosphere of drum rhythm, accompanied by bass and acoustic guitar, could only be described as soul-stirring and feel-good. If you missed it, you missed a real treat! You guys were so awesome last night!!! I even noticed one young lady crying after the song “What Matters Most.” Furthermore, “Heaven on Earth,” with its blues melody was a crowd pleaser. Of course “Be Well,” is one of my favorites. It was worth getting wet, to hear your concert.
